Anyone know how to go back to the first version, and keep it? I checked auto upgrade and can't figure out how to get get back to the screen to uncheck it. The second version keeps going bonkers. Thanks in advance.

That didn't exactly work, BUT thanks to you, (thank you btw) I was able to go in and uncheck auto update, allowing me to uninstall then reinstall the app. Thankfully the uninstall reverts fb app back to the original. It works just fine now. The only unfortunate consequence is not being able to "like" individual comments. I liked that new feature, but heck yes I can live without it, since the app actually works, now!
Nope, honestly I don't really like the old interface. Unfortunately, the new interface doesn't like my device. When I tried to use the new one my home page went crazy and refreshed every half second, leaving my app useless
I like the new version, it seems to run better. You can like individual comments from the newsfeed, but you cannot like comments if they are on someone's profile or through the notifications. Really stupid if you ask me...
IIRC this was not an update through the market. I saw on Android Central (I think) that if you had the old version and wanted to get the new one you just had to push buttons all over the screen until it woulc give you a FC, once it opens up again the new version appears.
So I'm not sure if uninstalling updates will work for very long, or you will just have to keep reverting back to the preloaded one
