New droidnaut, lookn to equip car n home

My Samsung smart(dum)phone died and my wife took it to the verizon store where they offered her a new droid, no charge. She awready has one so she sed yes. Still trying to move contacts over but am now lurking here and hoping to do some primo car improv like the Scosche BlueFusion kit - Scosche Industries
Hands free AND it might play my music as well as show who is calling. Plus I want to have one of those alarm night stand chargers. This thing intimidates the hell outa this old programmer. But then agen, I might want to learn how again.
