new droid user

Hey, guys as you can see I am new to the droid community. I am awaiting my Casio Commando to get here this next week and was starting to see what I can play with on it. I am a robotics programmer in Alabama so playing with software and hardware is what i do. I would like to use my phone for tethering when I need to as I also have the Verizon Mifi 4g lte card for internet at home.

Is there a search function on this site so I can try to look up most of my questions and not bother you guys with newbie questions?

And as far as a search function yes there is, it is at the top right of the screen "advanced search." Something I do is search a topic on Google and just add "Droid Forums" to the keywords. But if all else fails ask away, we are always willing to help out when in need
