New Droid on the block

Having fell way off the back of the tech curve several years ago (which still puts me ahead of like 80% of the people I know) I had only an inkling of the capabilities of smart phones. When it came time (finally), to grab one, the droid and its open source software seemed like a great choice.

I'm here really to find out how to tear the hood off this thing and finally have a portable comm/music/navigation/macguyver unit on my hip at all times.
Loving it so far but it looks like I can take it along way further.

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. Indeed you can take it much further and we have a lot of great info and people here to help you out. Feel free to look around, kind of sounds like you might want to go over to the hacking area and see if you don't find something that interest you.
