New Droid 2 user, any help is appreciated

Hello, i just got the droid 2 about 2 weeks when my sister bought the iphone(i kno i kno) and passed it on to me. Since i just got the phone without the box or any tips from her really i was missing out on some stuff on the first week (didnt even know about swype). So far ive switched the native text to handscent because i didnt like how you had to hit the pop-up menu to resend failed messages on the original and i'm also running dolphin browser and i few other things like anti virus and android booster....

I was just hoping to get any newbie suggestions anything from must have apps to a better way to configure (my first smart phone), or anything i might be missing (like not knowing about swype until i saw someone use it at work) i just want everything going as efficient as possible.

welcome to the forum. there's a lot of info here and the basics is where I will take u. u will see the word Root and ROMs etc and I will send u a few helpful links. i strongly recommend a thorough reading basically to help u adjust to Android.....and if u have other questions we will be here to assist u
