Just got the Droid 2 Global a few weeks ago, and first thing I did was google "droid 2 global mods" and found myself here. This is my first android experience, and so far really liking it.
I've already done the root & bootstrap thing, and have installed fission, angel and fenom roms to see what I liked best. Currently sticking with the fenom one. I really like the UI choices (such as black status bar and transparent options menus). Battery seems to not be sucking nearly as much as it was on stock which is the biggest plus! Think I'll hang onto this one for a bit.
I'll definitely be a regular around here. Love to hack my gadgets (read: love to void my warranties!)!
