Need some help, new to the android world

Any help will be greatly appreciated. All I want to do is stop Facebook info from mixing in with my text messages. I don't want to she what someone replied, if when someone asks me to be there friend. Anyone knkw.how to stop this. I have the HTC inspire if that helps

I think this is something you need to fix from the facebook website itself, doesn't have anything to do with the android.

When you receive a text from the unwanted fb , reply unsubscribe. That should work.

I do believe you need to go into settings - accounts & sync - Facebook sync off.
