Need Obvious Missed Call Screen

I'm a Droid newbie coming from a Blackberry World. Been a bit of learning curve too. I'm missing my phone calls mainly cos I keep expecting to see a screen telling me that I've missed a call - like the BB.

Is there something similar on my Droid?

When you miss a call, a few things happen.

1. An icon appears in your Notification bar at the top of the screen. It tells you that you missed a call from a number (or contact) and the time.
2. If you just your phone call log, it will show a received call that was missed.

Do you need any help getting to the Notifications bar or the Phone Log?
