I am SO new to this so please forgive my ignorance. I rooted my phone 2 days ago and here's where I am: Firmware is 2.2.1, baseband is DL09, Kernel 2.6.32.9, build DL30.
My problem is that the genres in my music files are all messed up. I have them nicely organized and had to rename all the genres when I was running stock because the music player was not reading them correctly. But now that i have rooted everything is incorrect again. I double checked the files on my SD card and the tags look right. I have downloaded several other music players to see if the files would be read differently but so far I've had no luck. (Music Player, Meridian and PowerAMP are the 3 I have tried).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
