I have a DVR here at the house that has 2 cameras attached.
I need to view them from the web.

This whole port forwarding and using dyndns is hurting my head....

Any netowrk type care to lend some advice?

What kind of router do you have? Does the DVR info tell you what ports need forwarding? Do you know how to access your routers control screens?

honestly for something like a DVR if it has its own internal IP its just easier to set that device up as a DMZ host.

do you know how to setup a DMZ from the router settings?

if you do this you wont need to worry about port forwarding youll just need to make sure your dyndns is up to date.
