Need help to sync iCal with Droid

I have been a Mac user for years and although an iPhone would have been easy, the service with AT&T is spotty forcing me to get a Droid. HOWEVER, I need help syncing my iCal with the Droid somehow. I am using an older Mac version 10.4.11. The only options were for version 10.5 or higher. Any suggestions?

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. From what I see you're correct, you need at least 10.5 to synch iCal to Google Calendar.

Is there a simple (and free) way to synch Droid with iCal?

Been reading these threads on syncing Droid with iCal and ixxx devices/apps. Bottom line, does anyone know of a way to seamlessly and for no cost sync iCal with the Droid calendar? BTW, I once used used Mark/Space's Missing Sync for syncing Mac to Windows based smartphone and it was a failure. I'd hate to risk another $40 only to discover it isn't seamless.
