Need help finding Map Route App.

I've been looking and looking for a free app that I can use to plan out a trip across the country. all the apps ive tried wont let me make points that are too far away from each other. Does anybody know of a free or cheap app that I could use to make (on a map) a 30+ day/30+ point trip across the country? For a bands tour for example. Trips like Boise, Idaho to Spokane, Washington. or Portland, Oregon to Sacramento, California? please help me out.
