need help finding an APP

morning, i was looking for an app i saw a commercial for a while back. it uses your camera in conjuction with GPS to locate places.

basically its looking thru the camera in real time, real images and it will show lil marks for resturants and what not.

so lets say your in a part of town and u turn on the app and hold the phone up and you just move it around while it throws up all the places to eat.

also there was another app a friend had that you could locate your friends on gps if you had their number or certain id number

The one that I know of is called Layar: Augmented Reality - Layar Reality Browser - Homepage. Also available in the market. Those are called augmented reality apps.

hey thanks for the help and greetings!

i researched LAYAR and there seem to be alot of issues with freezing and force closes and it not having an uninstall feature. any other suggestions?
