Alright so from what I've read so far its most likely a issue with the rom it self or name. One solution is to find a stock rom and attempt to flash that.

Man I'm beat its 4am I need to try n finish this tmrw morning. Thanks so much for the help. I gotta jump back into this tmrw I cant even see a word on the screen anymore I'm so tired

That's a weird way to fix it. I'm going to try and just flash a stock Rom and try it that way first.

Where is the actual rescue squad people lol

You need to rename the file you are flashing to update.zip.

I did change it to update.zip

I have project elite 6.5 renamed to update.zip on the root of my SD card

It says e : can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(no such file or directory)
Installation aborted

Actually, it's not a weird way to fix it at all. Think of it like a PC where you get a bunch of viruses, and instead of trying to use antivirus to remove them, you simply reformat the hard drive and completely reload everything from the restore DVD. Think of the RSDLite program in conjunction with the SBF file as the Droid's "restore DVD". The process takes about 15 minutes and basically erases everything from your device, and rewrites it. From there, you have a fresh start and can reroot/set it up as you wish.
