Need Help Big Time

Member
I have a moto droid , rooted, rom manager , running bb.04
I tried to change rom to cyanogen and probably because I didn't clear everything I now can't get anything to work.
I keep getting the message "the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
I can't even turn the phone off without pulling the battery.
Need help.
Thanks

Did you make a back-up first, and if so after you pull the battery and put it back in can you boot into recovery by holding Power and X ?

If, and only if you made a back-up first you would choose restore back-up, if not you would need to get another ROM onto your SD card via computer and card reader and then you would choose install zip from SD card and then choose .zip

Did you make a back-up first?

I don't see "restore backup". What I have is:
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update zip
wipe data/ factory reset
wipe cache partition
install zip from sdcard
nandroid
partition menu
advanced

Nandroid then restore backup...if you have more than one back-up they are organized by time and date, pick the most recent

Can't thank you and this great web site enough.
This, more than likely, will not be my last mistake but I learn from all of them.
Thanks again
