need flash and unlock thunderbalt

My friend got a thunderbolt that she found at the bar. question can i flush it and unlock it from current user and connected it with her? I have a dx and I've been modifying it for some time now so i am familiar with most of the terminology. please help

Here's an idea ... how about trying to track down the owner?!! Shocking I know!

the ean (electronic serial number) of the phone us linked to the account , so you would have to find a way to get the phone off the persons account. personally I would try and return it how would u feel if some one found your Dx and kept it? You have to remember there's phones are expensive.

Why would you even ask that question? Why dont you just return it to the rightful owner. What if that was your phone. Imagine how mad you would be if you lost it and someone else had it and was trying to get it activated.
