Navigation Runs Hot

I have also posted this in the Sapphire area as i am running that ROM right now. But--my phone runs hot when in my car dock for any length of time when running Navigation. It gets very hot to the touch after 15-20 minutes no matter what ROM i am running.

I was curious if a stock non-rooted Droid gets hot when running Navigation in the car dock??

Yeah pretty normal with you are running the cell radio, GPS and screen, all in the clip holder. I notice it getting warm just holding the phone in my hand when on extended phone calls.

If you are overclocked, then throttle it back down while using navigation. My phone ran great at stock speeds while navigating.
