AFAIK nandroid is only in SPRecovery and Clockwork Recovery, Ive modded my droid but Im still very new to all of this since Ive only had my droid for about three weeks.

From what Ive read 2.1 official (ESE81) cant be rooted (yet...)

Yeah - I'm not sure you can get SPrecovery from the stock 2.1 But you can get the stock 2.1 rooted with SPrecovery if you still have rooted 2.01. Pete made a thread about this recently.

I'm sure rooting the stock 2.1 will happen soon.
