Hey. I'm new to the Android side of things. I've been a sheltered iPhone user for almost 3 years now. The Bionic has helped me see the light, lol. I'm really looking forward to that phone, even if the style gets downgraded (IMO, of course).

Any advice to someone new to Android phones?

welcome to the forum! great to have u here. well the best thing is def read up on all the great things u can do with ur phone. Rooting is an option to most but just like iPhones and jailbreaking, u have ur pros and cons.
over all, android is by far IMO the best thing to happen in smart phones. so much u can do and its all because of the great developers and moderators who made it what it is today.
im waiting on the bionic also but I love my Global. good luck in ur findings...
