so i got my droid 2 in the december of 2010, i've rooted it, installed a custom theme on it, use it alot, etc. but lately its been feeling very very hot when im using it. i've installed a battery meter that tells me how much juice i have left. it also tells, me the temperature of the battery. it often says its about 46.0 C. sometimes when i don't use it it still gets hot and i usally keep the wifi, bluetooth, and the gps off. i also think that the heat generated is affecting the touch screen a bit. is there something wrong with my phone?

It could be a background program running wonky, using a lot of CPU time.

If you don't know what overclocked is, then you're not. Its not the battery that is getting hot, its the processor. Look at your battery stats and see what is using your battery so much. Maybe that can tell you what app is working so hard. It could be time for a new rom! Have you tried cyanogenmod?
