My 4 day old Inc had a lil fall

Of only 2 feet and shattered the outer plasticdisplay on the phone. The display is fine, but is now covered with cracks all over it. I do have insurance on the phone, luckily. I just wanted to get an idea if it's something that I could replace myself, or I'd be better off contacting Verizon's insurance company to replace it.

Also, I need a good case for it as the "shock proof" one that verizon gave me when I got the phone did nothing to protect it, so I need to order a good one now. I've had phones for the past decade and never had one crack like this one did and want to make sure that it won't happen again. Anyone have good advice on one that would work the best for me?

If you are going to stick with the OEM standard size battery, go with an Otterbox case Defender Series. I've got the larger HTC/Verizon 2150 extended batteries so I have to live without drop protection other than a screen protector as no vendor has an optional case that will accomodate the phone/combo I have.

BTW, good job in having insurance. I've always have insurance on my phones for years.
