music starts randomly when phone jack is plugged in

My phone jack on my milestone is loose, and makes crackling noises when the jack wobbles around. That problem I know of, but it music randomly starts sometimes when phone jack is plugged in, anyone else have this problem?

Some music players have a setting that they resume playback when a headset is plugged in. A very useful feature if you want it. Check in your settings.

unfortunately that is not the issue, it happens while it's plugged in, sometimes I don't even touch it, the phone is locked, and the music would start... I'm all out of ideas

I have had this happen in the car dock. are you using a car dock?
