Whenever I attempt to filter by "Artist" the music player force closes, anybody else? Any known fixes?

i love this player, but i think its causing me a few problems also. i listened to music during my commute to work this morning. i noticed my phone was getting really hot. after i closed the player, my phone seemed to act really slow until finally it rebooted itself.

i love the player, but im thinking i might stick to winamp until the bugs are worked out.
