I'm looking for an app in which I can stream audio from my laptop / over my network to my Droid. Is there an app for this? I've been searching but finding nothing.

it works for music quite well. it does movies too, but most of the files on my computer can't be played back on the phone itself.
phone playback is in beta stage, so hopefully the formats are updates so i can watch more movies on my phone.
the initial intent of the program was to be able to use your phone as a remote for your computer.

Actually, if you have iTunes, then you can use an app called Tunes Remote and this will allow you to see all of your music files and playlists that you have in iTunes but only if that computer actually has iTunes currently running on the computer.
I am also running Gmote, but this is only right now for searching for music to play on my computer connected to my sound system. I am still waiting for them to get the music being able play on the Droid properly
