Been frustrated with this since I got the beta invite. I'm on the OG Droid running SS 5.4 unthemed.
The app size of Music Beta is > 20mb and it's causing my phone to lag. In the music beta app, I have "Cache music" unchecked so it doesn't download recently played to my phone....but the size of the app keeps growing.
This happens either if I have the app moved to SD card or on the phone.
FWIW, I'm at the 20K song limit in music beta and have about 35 playlists synced to the cloud. I have about 3gb of space on my SD card.
I can get all these songs to play, but why is the app taking so much space on my phone? I also use Amazon's Cloud player and have about 18gb synced to the cloud yet the app size is only about 7mb. What size is the app on your phone?
Any suggestions appreciated.
