Multiple Contacts For Texting Messages

What's up people? I am new to all of this so if for any reason I don't follow protocal let me know. I have just purchased the Droid on the 6th as many of you have done and need help knowing how to set up multiple contacts for text messaging. Can you help me out?

When composing a new text message, you can add more than one contact separated by commas. Once the first contact is in, click in the box again and type in next contact.
