Msking a theme, and broke Launcher.apk

I've been working on a theme, and the theme would never apply, or atleast show a change when I overwrote it. I ended up overwriting it the wrong way, and now I have to re-install Launcher.apk. Anytime I try to push it the SD card via CMD I get either permission denied, or read only file system. So then I turned to Root Explorer, but even when I copy the .apk in Root Explorer, I still have to install it.

Can anyone help me re install launcher.apk?

You should be able to copy the launcher.apk into the system/app directory (via root explorer - make sure you mount r/w), then long-hold launcher.apk once it's in system/app and make sure the permissions are as follows:

Then reboot and you should be good to go.
