I have a movie and a audio book that are MPG4 files. Can I add these to my Droid, or do they have to be some other format? Where exactly do you put the movies or audio books on the Droid, in what folder? I added the 2 files to my SDcard and it says File type not found. Where do I add them, and how can I play them?

Thanks

You should be able to put them anywhere on the card. I think the file extension should be mp4, not mpg4.

i can help with part of your question.

on your sd card create a folder called media
within MEDIA create several other folders

alarms
notififcations
music
movies
camera
ringtones
videos

put the movies in VIDEOS but movies on the droid need to be converted to 3gp

i'm not sure about the book thing but i'd guess you could create a document folder and put the files in that.

you really dont need to create any folders but i do to keep my stuff in the proper place. I have a main folder called Media, then in that i have anime, movies etc...but when you launch the Gallery it will look thru the entire SD card and it will show up if its in the correct format. The format are mp4 not mpg4 for video format.
