Motorola, Verizon to debut Droid Razr at Oct. 18 event?

Well, Monday just got a little more exciting around here. According to an invite that Motorola sent out, we may finally see that rumored Droid Razr? The words "Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger" are also emblazoned on the invitation.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m., PT/12 p.m., ET. But, in the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts on what you think the companies will introduce. Also, anyone else have Daft Punk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger" stuck in their head now?

Hmmm I wonder if Motorola should have just spent their time on this and not release the Bionic all together. This phone just seems like a thinner, SAMOLED Bionic with an industrial look and feel.

Well, there were definitely hints to the RAZR name, most notably, the actual razor and the cutting in half of the date at the end.
I'm really surprised that Moto is already pushing a new device, they just released the Bionic!

Another reason I think their CEO is horrible but Motorola is a business.

I stated that they were just pushing the bionic out the door to satisfy the hype they created around it even though it was a very flawed device from the beginning.

Unfortunately this fear is reality, luckily I didn't buy into the hype. I may even get the razor if it comes out before the prime. Looks like a sweet phone!

Well I'm satisfied with my Bionic, I just like the look of the RAZR. It looks industrial and seems more industrial. That probably won't appeal to as many people as the Bionic did which is probably why they still released it.

^Same here. The Bionic is a very fast phone and the only thing that get's me excited at this point is the idea of a display that is larger than 4.3 inches.

...The pictures of this device next to the Bionic showed that the screen was the same size as the Bionic's (imo). I don't see where every is getting 4.5"

Ugh. I hate this. I don't know when to stop waiting and just drop some cash on an upgrade for my DX.
