Motorola is Giving Away 10 Droid Turbos on July 10th

Here's a hot contest straight from Motorola. They are giving away up to 10 metallic Droid Turbos on July 10th. To enter all you need to do is jump on Twitter and retweet a specific tweet from Motorola Mobility's Twitter page. This retweet needs to be submitted by July 10th at 2pm CDT, and needs to include your choice of colors between Orange, Blue or Violet.

Specifically, for every 1,000 tweets (up to 10,000) there will be a winner of a new Droid Turbo. The contest is for US residents only. I wonder if they keep track of previous winners. I won the Droid 2 R2-D2 phone in a similar contest years ago. I used it for about a day and then put it on ebay because I missed the larger screen of my Droid x. I do miss the R2 sounds though.

I'd be happy to have the Turbo for free and don't think I'd actually sell this one right away. Though I love my Note 4, I'm itching for something new already.

My wife has a DNA that she's starting to have issues with. Her contract is up the beginning of next month. If I win, the trick is to talk her into waiting until her contact is up to get a new phone because I really like the Turbo. I know I'm being selfish.

I hear you buddy. The wife's using my old S4 since I got the Note 4. Her S3 was driving her nuts. Would she like a phone around the size of the Turbo that's newer than the S4? Sure, but she's not the tech nerd in the family and she's not on Twitter. Haha!

She's still on her mom's family plan. That's a gift her mom gives her and her sister even though they're both married. Not sure when her next upgrade is, but I think she got the S3 close to the same time I got the 4. I was very confused at the time.

No way. You even posted that you won a Droid 2 through a contest years ago.....you cannot win a Droid Turbo!

Of course, winning the D2 was WAY out of my usual scope of luck, so I probably won't, but I figure it doesn't hurt to toss out a simple retweet once and a while. That's about all that I do with Twitter anyway, though I keep trying to force myself to make original tweets.
