Motorola Droid On A Fast Boat (camcorder demo)

This video was recorded on the Motorola Droid running the Android OS (v2.0) and uploaded directly from the phone to youtube. I wanted to see what the frame rate and resolution of fast moving content looks like after youtube does their compression on a Droid video. The boat got up to 40mph.

NOTE: As of this recording, there is no image stabilization software available for this phone.

Great work. The video recorder on the Droid is excellent. The photos look great as well. The only problem left, for me, is the delay between shots on camera.

The sun really helped too, to be fair. Given proper lighting this video recorder can hang with the Sony handycam I bought 4 years ago(for 500 bucks), actually I think it's probably better.
