I purchased a body glove type made by Outer Box and love it. Sturdy like the once sold by Verizon but much easier to remove.

If ur looking for a hard plastic case, the ones by My-bat are awesome I've tried many different cases and found they all pop off easily except My-bat ones.

I bought a case at cellphoneshop[.]net for 2 or 3 bucks. For those who use docks, it probably isn't great (it's a PITA to get off), but for three bucks you've got a hard shell case and for 2 bucks more a screen protector. Works for me.

I had them put on the screen protector in the store... they had to keep trying until they got it right and I only paid for the one that worked.

I got the leather "pouch case" from Verizon but also got a silicone skin. Droid fits inside the pouch with skin on but it has to be removed to go into the home dock. Fortunately it's very easy to put on and take off. Still looking for a more "informal" pouch case w/belt clip as I'm not a "twenty something" who carries their phone in their hand at all times.

Got my "Body Glove Rubber Snap On Cover with Belt Clip" and so far so good. No complaints.

I have the innocase and it works great. I work in a very hot and dirty environment and have had no complaints. Then outside of work I take off the shell and still left with a nice case that is great for everyday life. The holster it comes with is great. And all the ports are covered and I dont have to worry about getting anything in them.

I have a new black leather wallet case that is great for carrying in the vest pocket of a suit that fits the Droid1. I do not use it and woulkd be glad to give it to the first forum member to email me through the forum. I am not trying to start a sales thread and believe the forum is not designed for selling. But I do believe that we can help others in the forum whether it be free advice or free accessories.

I owned the Body Glove case for about 4 months. By the 4th month, the top faceplate cover component of the case had worn to a state of being flimsy. The top cover would no longer stay attached to the phone. Other than that, the Body Glove seems to be a good cover. However, I am extremely disappointed with it because of the lack in durability of the top face plate cover component. I cannot recommend the Body Glove cover to anyone. There are many accounts of the top face plate cover becoming too flimsy to be useful. The accounts are coming out now.

Same here faceplate is way to flimsy even thought that when it was new, over time its gotten worse and little clips breaking now face plate comes off at random. I switched to otter box, love the raised buttons and not as bulky.

If you're looking for nice pouch case that is really just a great case for the money I would deffinately look at the case I got for my Droid. The company is called the primary case company. Looks like they have cases for iPhone, Blackberry, and of course the Droid. It appears that they have a few different styles of leather pouches. Take a look for yourself. www.primarycase.com

I still would go out and buy the third body glove tomorrow if I were to replace mine! The clear plastic cover initially I bought cracked open due to the droids hefty gravity pull on inpact. My final straw was the day the battery panel came off.

Body glove marketers can afford to enclose additional faceplates or redesign better front cover endurance though if they are reading because the other natives are getting restless I read....
