I was pleasantly suprised to find out that the MOTO ROKR S305 stereo bluetooth headset works well with my Droid Incredible. Specifically:
-The headset works to control volume, play/pause, and previous/skip with BOTH Rhapsody and Pandora. I expected it to work with Rhapsody since it has the option to enable bluetooth controls, but the support with Pandora was welcome and unexpected.
-Notifications for new e-mail/messages happen with a non deafing audible tone which is preceded by a volume fade for the playing music.
-Voice commands, during music playback, are a breeze, ie tap the call button "Call zoidberg at work". Ending the call returns music.
-Microphone is pretty good, according to those called, but I have only tested it inside under fairly ideal condtions.
Less than ideal:
-Incoming calls sound like walky-talky, quality wise, but music is considerably better quality, but...
-Music is obviously more anemic than wired headset, and very low bass is replaced with a cut-out hit/pop instead
-They are not comfortable for me, but I am wearing glasses
Overall, for ~35 bucks shipped from amazon, I am happy. I may not keep these particular headphones, but its very encouraging in terms of the capability for the phone and a periphreal to interact to be a good music play back device and phone head set. Having been unable to confirm to myself whether the phone had AVCP after froyo made me skeptical whether this would work, but I am happy with this initial purchase.
