Here is some sad news for folks in Europe hoping to pick up the Moto Maxx version of the Motorola Droid Turbo from Verizon. We reported last week that Latin America was getting a rebadged version of the Droid Turbo called the Moto Maxx. This created hope that this potentially iconic device would come to other markets around the globe. Unfortunately, Motorola France has confirmed that the device will not be coming to Europe.

For now it appears that Latin America is the only region which will get the Moto Maxx. Motorola didn't share why, but industry speculation suggests it is a parts supply issue.

Here's our dedicated Motorola Droid Turbo section for more discussions: Motorola Droid Turbo Android Forum at DroidForums.net

That sucks... But... A GSM device should be plug n play?? Buy one through the net and shove a nano sim in... Good to go?? Even vzw phones are GSM unlocked, right?
