So, my take: It's okay for Apple to patent interacting with a lockscreen in intuitive ways, but Moto can't enforce their patents on cellular operation. BS, plain and simple. I'd cry out about the idiocy of European courts, but this is no worse than the reaming manufacturers are receiving at the hands of Apple over here. This is only a lower court decision, but as the article mentions it is unlikely things will go better down the line.
End result: Moto has been told by the court that if they do not accept Apple's licensing terms that Moto could instead be fined and otherwise penalized. Thoughts?
