Moto G (Gen 4) & Moto G Plus (Gen 4) Pass Through FCC Testing

The 4th gen edition of the Moto G is officially being unveiled in India soon, and from the looks of these U.S. FCC filings, it will also be making its way to the west. The following model numbers showed up in the recent Motorola FCC filing: XT1620, XT1621, XT1622, XT1624, XT1640, XT1641, XT1642, and XT1643. The XT1620 and XT1640 are likely the U.S. carrier supported versions of the Moto G and the Moto G Plus.

The Moto G and Moto G Plus may not be too exciting compared to higher end faire, but it hits a good price point in the budget friendly niche. Here are the specs for the device (according to the latest rumors):

Moto G Plus (4th gen) -
  • 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) display
  • Snapdragon 617 processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage
  • 16MP camera
  • Fingerprint sensor
Moto G (4th gen) -
  • Snapdragon 400-range processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB storage
  • 13MP camera
  • NO fingerprint sensor
