Voice is not recognizing unique spelling of names (Ex: Aimee v. Amy). Is there a way to put a voice tag on contacts?

Also, can you fool the phone into thinking it's in a cradle with a plain magnet? If so, where do you place magnet?

Not sure about the voice but yes any magnet will work. Place it on the back above the battery (centered on the 'top half'). Note: the polarity of the magnet determines if it's in 'dock' or 'auto-dock' mode.
