I have to pull them from different soundboards scattered across the interweb. I'll link the one I found earlier with the laugh.

The download links are on the bottom. If you get it working on your device, could you maybe YouTube it so I can at least laugh at my idea cone to life? :)

If I can get it to work, it should work for you. Have you tried an online converter? I'll try to find the one I used and post the link.

I'm able to change to ogg on phone.. I'm using root explorer but any manager will work.. Are you changing permissions after rename? And you need to reboot for it to show...

Here's one from the link

Change permissions? I don't know how to do that. Lol. I'm such a noob

Edit: I found the "change permissions" button when I long press the file but it says it won't allow it :( plus I don't know what to change it to

Find the sound you want to change permission on, make sure you select Read/Write option, long press & it should look like this using Root Explorer

I renamed it to KeypressStandard.ogg, deleted the one that was in the system/media/audio/ui folder, then copied the ogg file in its place, rebooted, and it still has the same sound it was :(
The properties were already changed to the ones you had in you screenshot. And that's from the mp3 file.

I tried changing the filetype with MediaConverter from the play store and did everything else the same. Still not working.

Has anyone that viewed this thread been able to get it to work? I found some touch sounds from a windows phone that I really like and would love to have them on here. Also, why is this not a common feature on phones? Like I said in an earlier post,my LG dare had like 4 or 5 diff sounds, plus a slow mo cam... How can t hat pos have features modern android phones don't have?
