mobile hot spot

Hi all,
So I tried the 3g mobile hot spot, 1) start 3ghs 2) cycle air plane mode 3)done. So I got to a point where I was asked if I wanted to enter a password. So I did and in 2 minutes I forgot it. Any ideas on how to recover it? and Has anyone been charged using the hot spot this way?

Yep you'll be charged to use 3g mobile hotspot on the phone. If you root your device, you can do it for free.

Root and use Wifi Tether. It acts as a proper hotspot now, and completely free.
