If I wana go back into recovery mode n restore my original Rom, n take the ota update, will I lose my root? Will I b able to switch back to my current rooted Rom??

From what I understand, you can't root the 2.3.4 update. You have to downgrade to 2.3.3. Imo, staying with 2.3.3 is the way to go
