Okay so I finally did the new rim thing and went with miui and so far like it. This morning tho I had to **** the phone off to dismiss the alarm, nothing else woods work. weird? The other thing us where is the book mark widget, I need this. So far I like the rom and it is fast but I miss some of the features of the stock rom like the bookmarks. Any help? I'm learning tho.

Is this your first rom? You can always try out other ones too...muiu is a completely different setup than any others out there...
My suggestions
1. Chevyno1s simply stunning 5.4 (gingerbread rom)
2. Liquid rom 2.1 (also gingerbread)
3. Sourcery rom (froyo rom)

Look around and try out different ones and find one you like

Yeah...I have been using MIUI non-stop since January and finally removed it last night. Moved back to a Froyo mod. BB 0.6.2.1 atm (amazing how fast it seems to me now) but may go back to MIUI 1.3.25 (I think the last Froyo MIUI). Too many memory related issues with GB/D1. I give a huge amount of props to the devs on this - I think they have worked small miracles with MIUI on the D1!

It depends on the rom you use...basically gingerbread is more efficient and has more features than froyo
