Missing Facebook Status in SMS Messaging

On 2.1 it would show the Facebook status of the person that I am texting. Now I can no longer see their statuses in the messaging app. Any suggestions on how to get those back so they show at the top of the screen next to their picture instead of the phone number?

I too wish to view the Facebook statuses, but cannot figure out how to return this setting for the life of me.
