Pensacola was most fun, flew at HC-16, but as with anything fun, squadron was decommed...

LOL I wonder if we ever ran into each other. Initially I was at FOB Orgun-E in Paktika Province for the first six months. I ran the detention facility and did some other stuff there...then eventually took over as the NCOIC of all of the detention facilities in RC East...so Asadabad, Jalalabad, Salerno, Ghazni, and OE. Then I moved up to Bagram at the Joint Interrogation Facility as the Night Shift NCOIC. So I was in Bagram from about July 06 - Jan 07 when I left. LOL maybe you saw my picture somewhere, I was the CJTF-76 NCO of the Year.

stayed away from the brass installations, would've missed your pic, but yeah we were on BAF the same time... I miss the chow hall

Amen to that Backnblack!! I was a hollywood marine, where'd you go? My brother is a marine stationed in san D going to Iraq for a 3rd time, my other bro is a marine out of Lejeune just got back from afghan and now he's in Haiti... say's its a nice change of pace... bullets to bandaids type thing

Not a vet myself, but my son is currently serving.

He is home for the next few days, before going to Baumholder, Germany.

right i was in the older barracks when we got back from deployment i think it was 2/5 that took over the newer barracks when we left on deployment.

Time in Service: 16 April 2008 ( almost 2 years)
Current Duty Station: Fort Hood TX
Current Job Title: Biomed (med maintenance i.e i fix the **** doctors break)
Previous Deployments: None as of yet.
 
I was an arabic linguist in the army for 5 years. I got out for 2 years then came in the air force with the same job. Been in a total of 8 now.
