Milestone does not charge or sense USB connection until reboot

Hi! I just got my milestone and after charging it full on my mac(on the 3rd day), my milestone stop sensing that my charger/USB is plugged and only after i reboot will it start to charge. Is there anyway I can fix this? It has been going on for about 3-4 days now.
