Metal Frame for the Sony Xperia Z3 is Leaked; Announcement May Come in August

Images of what is supposedly the metal frame of the Sony Xperia Z3 were recently leaked. Some additional intel was included along with these images. Supposedly Sony's next flagship will be announced in August. That's not all. The same source of this intel included specs for the device:

• Sticking with a 1080p display
• Snapdragon 805 CPU clocked at 2.7GHz
• 3GB of RAM
• 20.7MP main camera

What we want to know is, "Why does Sony keep launching a new flagship every six months?" They barely give users enough time to enjoy their device before they bring out another one. Regardless of their questionable marketing, their products are outstanding. We keep hearing rumors that the Xperia Z2 might come to Verizon, but that is still unconfirmed at this time.

I seem to recall reading something about Sony saying they will not partner with any carriers. If they want market share they need to rethink their strategy.
