What is the best messenger to use if most of my friends have blackberries? We all used bbm's untill I got the droid. Is there an app that we can all get such that we can comunicate like we did on the blackberry messenger? The blackberry messenger was cool cuzz it use the free data which meant we could all text each other for free.

What's the best way to do this on the droid?

I dont believe there is any messenger that communicates specifically with BBM, as BBM is blackberry only and is an intra-server communication between them. As far as what to use now? GChat is probably your best bet.

Yeah, I dont think I will be able to communicate with their blackberry messenger...just looking for an app that me and my buds can use to text each other for free similar to the way we did on the blackberry messenger.

I'll look into gchat.
