Messenger (texting) issues

My messenger app is continously having problems. When I send texts, the blue circle keeps spinning and eventually will tell me that messenger has stopped working and shuts down. Then when I reopen it it tells me that I have no messages when I know I have many. I am having to restart my phone sometimes 3-5 times a day to get my texts to send.

Might want to go to settings - apps - all, find the messenger and clear its data. This may cause you to lose all saved texts though.

Not really a fix but you could install an aftermarket messenger. I use GoSMS Pro as mine because it has way more customization options. It's free too so you can install it and see if it works. Worth a shot.

I am having the exact same problem. I have had my gs3 since it came out but this issue just started today. I have had to restart my phone twice today.
