Messaging pic

I'm full of questions today. I'm running liberty, and I need to figure out how to put my own picture in the messaging app. It's probably pretty simple, anybody know?

Click the spot where your picture should be and see if an option to open up a contact page comes up.

Edit your contact. It was suppose to do that when syncing with your contact back-ups. It seemed to be fine with the rest of the contact's picture but for some reason left mine with no picture. I just edited my contact to bring it back up.

OK that's the issue. I will say it's annoying that I have to be in my own contacts. Like I'm ever going to call myself, from my phone.
