Messaging App Question

Hi All,
Does anyone know if on Group SMS you can import a contact list from a CSV file or the like? Does each person getting the group text have to be invited or subscribe? Thanks in advance. =-)

Group SMS is an iPhone only application.

Given the fact that any good stock messaging app can handle group texts, I don't really see the draw of an app like this. If the contacts are in your phone, you can add them to or create a group message to them. I'd import the CSV to my phone/Google contacts.

Group texts don't require an invitation, but they'll show up differently depending on what kind of phone each recipient has. Some apps like Google Messenger offer the ability to turn off notifications for individual discussions, but that's the only way I know of to stop getting notifications for group texts. I'm not aware of a way to opt in or out of them.
