My first phone was the RAZR, then the LG Voyager, enV Touch, Samsung Fascinate, now this. I still have them all...but I do know smart phones can sell for a lot online but i have never sold anything online and don't really have the desire. I kinda like looking at the evolution of the phones though :P

Sold just about all my old phones.
My list is too long to post but I started with Windows Mobile phones and regular phones before that.
I actually can't remember how many dumb phones I've had over the years (Since 1994).
But I had the following:
Samsung Windows Flip Phone
Palm Treo 700W
Samsung SCH i760
Blackberry Storm
Blackberry Storm II
Droid X
Droid Bionic
Droid Razr
Currently have Razr Maxx

OG Droid, Droid 2, both kept...make nice remote controls for the Verizon FIOS and also for Roku SoundBridge and Sonos! Also make nice music players for both onboard stored music and streaming with Jamcast over WIFI.

Roflol, I've been with Verizon (Bell Atlantic Mobile), since 1994! Same individual phone numbers on 3 separate phones!

Did you have one of those brick phones? I would definitely rock one of those :P

Used them but never owned one.

I used to keep mine until I found out about the "cell phones for soldiers" program a couple years ago. I donated them all to them except for my OG Razr, which I sold on Ebay for 50 bucks.

I usually get a new phone ever year and sell the current one. I would rather get more money for it because most phone are considered old tech 6 months to a year later. I couldn't imagine trying to sell a 3 year old phone, even 2 years old. I have had the Hero, Evo 4G, Evo 3D, Sensation, Nexus S 4G, Galaxy S2, iPhone 4s and now the Maxx. I got pretty good money for all of them too. Will be selling the Maxx as soon as the HD comes out.

Couple questions, where do you sell? And did you sign a two year contract for the Maxx? If so, how will you get the HD?

I buy and sell phones all the time. I've had over 20 Android phones alone (along with almost as many Windows Mobile phones back in the pre-Android days and a couple iPhones). New technology is an addiction. :) Save for the Droid Pro (which I really loved), I've kept the MAXX longer than any other Android phone I've had, and almost as long as a couple Windows Mobile phones I had back when smartphones weren't really popular yet.

I generally buy and sell on a few different Android and tech forums. Occasionally, I'll pick up something on eBay. People often ask how I can afford to always be getting different newer phones, but honestly, if you do it right, it should only cost at most $50 every time you switch phones, if not less. The key to that is not holding onto a phone too long. Android phones drop in value very quickly (save for some unlocked, international GSM phones that depreciate slower), so if you wait too long to sell one, you won't get too much out of it.

I've sold my iPhone 4s on Craigslist for 450 and this helped tremendously when considering ETF fee. I would love to sell my RAZR MAXX as well to get the HD, but I'm curious to know if I could sell the MAXX for a similar price. I would love to keep newer phones to get better experiences but I don't want to dish out no more than $200 - $250 for it.

This is what I want to know as well. I've never sold android phones yet but I'm wondering if I could get similar profits as I did with my iPhones.

With very few exceptions, Android phones do not hold their value like iPhones do. Unless the Android device you're selling is relatively new and in high demand, you're not going to see the types of returns on them that you did with your iPhones.
